Landon Cube & 24KGoldn Team Up For Rock-Inspired Track “Eighties”

After being heavily associated with the likes of Lil Skies, Landon Cube has been able to cement himself as one of the leaders in the melodic rap community. To call Landon Cube a rapper would be a bit of a mistake, however, his production choices and associations plant him firmly within hip-hop culture. On his latest track “Eighties,” Cube enlists the likes of 24KGoldn for a track that is unmistakeably an ode to alternative rock.

As you will hear throughout the track, there are some pretty guitar leads all while both artists sing about a girl who appears to be living life as though she grew up during the cocaine era. Overall, it’s a delightful short track that certainly plays itself well for the summer.

Quotable Lyrics:

And she got style, but I know that she crazy
And she do blow like she grew in the eighties
Baby, don’t waste my time
I’m fucked up and shit ain’t right
